Welcome Independent Inventors and Parents!
Problem-Solving Can Be Your Superpower!
Invention education is for YOU!

The Invention Convention Program
Ohio Invention League’s Invention Convention program is designed to activate an engaging student-led project-based learning curriculum. Many of our program resources are provided for free or at a low cost to participating students, educators, and out-of-school program leaders. Each program year culminates with a series of competitions and showcases, including events at the school, regional, state, and national level. Programming is flexible to fit any timeline and learning environment, and to accommodate any student’s grade level, learning style, or ability!
Still working on strengthening your STEAM skills? No problem! OIL’s Invention Convention program allows students to pull from their personal strengths to solve problems. Students are encouraged to persevere through challenges in learning environments that foster learning through failure!
Any Ohio student in grades K-12 is invited to join Ohio Invention League’s programs to solve problems they witness in their own daily life, their community, or even worldwide humanitarian issues.
If your school or organization is not participating in Ohio Invention Convention programming, you are welcome to be part of our Independent Inventor Program (IIP)!

Students learn:
To think critically through solving real-world problems.
The impact of inventions in their lives.
To apply STEAM, communication, collaboration, innovation, and entrepreneurial skills to building real-world solutions.
