The Invention Convention has been a transformative experience for me. Over the past three years, I’ve not only developed innovative ideas but also acquired a range of skills and even made some new friends!
Through Invention Convention, I’ve learned how to confidently present my ideas to various audiences. Whether it’s explaining the details of my invention to judges or fellow inventors, I’ve undoubtedly become a more effective communicator. This skill has extended to everyday life, empowering me to express my thoughts clearly.
Additionally, the experience of being featured in local newspapers, TV, and my school’s social media pages has been remarkable. It’s always thrilling to see your own face on social media!
Moreover, as a student inventor, it’s truly gratifying to connect with others who share my mindset and have undergone similar stages of the invention process. During the past two years of national conventions, I’ve forged many friendships that I still maintain today.
